Der Verbund der deutschen Filmhochschulstudierenden – The Association of German Film School Students was founded in 2008 to strengthen communication and cooperation among the students of the seven film schools in Germany and to further promote the quality of education at the individual schools.

The association has set itself the task of representing the interests of young filmmakers and, with YOUNG BLOOD, to handle one of the most established pitching events during the Berlinale to offers young filmmakers a platform to the most important international industry professionals.
