Théo Degen is a young belgian filmmaker born in 1997 and trained at the Institut National Superieur des Arts du Spectacle (INSAS) in Bruxelles (2015 - 2020) In 2021 he co - creates the "Phosphore Films" collective with other filmakers to make films after school. His graduation movie "The Salamander Child" a poetic and comic fable about solitude, mourning and imaginary has won the first prize of Cinéfondation at The 74e Festival de Cannes.
