After working as an actress and theatre director, the Russian-Norwegian director Maria Mørkrid graduated Met Film School in Berlin with a BA degree in Film Directing and shot her graduation film 'Imitation' in summer 2021. Since then she has shot and directed two other short films, 'Jonte' and 'Catcall', which she is submitting to film festivals all around the world.
