Isabella is a director of Greek origin, trained in Filmmaking at the London Film Academy. She has also studied Music and has a first degree in Medicine. Over the last years, she has co-written and directed four devised and dance theatre projects in Athens. ''II - A Comment on Collectivity'' was presented at the National Theatre and ''The Revolution Will Not Have Wifi'' was presented at Athens' largest fringe festival, gaining the highest public vote. ''54 / The Blind Turtle and the Endless Sea'' was her first short film (2020), for which she collaborated with a highly acclaimed crew of Greek filmmakers. The film was screened in Academy-Award qualifying festivals and more than 20 different countries worldwide. Her interest in sea life led to her second short script ''Nothing Holier Than A Dolphin'', which was selected by one of Europe's largest environmental organisations as a story that offers great insight on the environmental issue in the Mediterranean. Isabella was selected in the Directors Summit of Talents Sarajevo 2021. She is interested in the therapeutic aspect of art, the universal language of the human body as the main vehicle in storytelling and the transformation point between reality and hyperrealism.
